Location/route description

The small town Vodice is situated in Croatia, in central Dalmatia. The easiest way to reach Vodice is by taking the highway A1 going from Rijeka and Zagreb. Vodice is only 15 minutes drive  from the highway exit Pirovac . Vodice is a known tourist destination in Croatian Adriatic and in Dalmatia. It has been on the top of the Croatian tourist attractions for many years.

The offer in Vodice is really large and various: sports fields, water sports, diving schools and surfing schools, discos, different restaurants and small taverns (so-called "Konoba") in which one can eat and drink, children's playgrounds and similar. Directly in the town there is a big Yacht-Marina, and nearby  are two national parks famous by their natural beauty and wonderful landscapes . They are : National park Krka and National Park Kornati. There is also  National Park Vransko Lake with a biotope of birds` water carriers, the unique falcon`s centre ,the island Prvić, the small town of Skradin which is a cultural jewel ,as well as the ancient Croatian town Šibenik, in which everyday excursions are organised.
